A little bit about me...
Raised in Greensboro with deep roots across the Triad, Monica Salgado grew up with a front-row seat to the power of property ownership. Watching her father navigate the world of real estate as an investor, she saw firsthand how smart acquisitions create stability and generational wealth. This early exposure, combined with her experience as the child of immigrants, instilled in Monica a resilient work ethic and a profound understanding of sacrifice and opportunity. Before transitioning into real estate, Monica spent several years in the logistics and trucking industry, a high-speed environment that sharpened her ability to manage complex operations with precision. Today, she uses that unique blend of investment knowledge and professional discipline to advocate for first-generation buyers and seasoned investors alike.
Monica’s professional philosophy is defined by her "eat the frog" approach—a commitment to tackling the most difficult tasks and conversations immediately to ensure her clients remain protected and positioned for success. She is a solution-oriented strategist who stays calm under pressure, focusing on finding a clear path forward rather than dwelling on obstacles. Outside of her career, Monica stays energized and focused by practicing hot yoga and swimming laps at her local YMCA, disciplines that help her show up with clarity for every client. When she isn't at the closing table, she enjoys traveling to the beach. By prioritizing transparency and proactive communication, Monica ensures that every family she represents feels empowered and informed at every stage of their journey.
