A little bit about me...
A strong background in Marketing and Communications, coupled with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, creates a strategic “one-two punch” for clients working with Laura Craven. Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, Laura’s own journey through multiple state relocations has given her a profound understanding of the logistical and emotional challenges of finding the perfect home. Since making the Triad her permanent home, she has leveraged her marketing expertise and high-end design sensibilities to become a powerhouse in the Luxury Division. Furthermore, Laura’s lifelong background in the equestrian world led her to found the Land & Farm Division at R&B Legacy Group, where she not only serves her own clients but invests her time into procuring relevant industry training and running the division’s operations. As she notes, “Farms and land can be different. It takes someone who really knows what makes sense—layout design, re-design, and resources—it is definitely my passion.”
Laura’s professional philosophy is rooted in the belief that relationships are the foundation of every successful transaction. She is a dedicated advocate who emphasizes the importance of truly hearing her clients' needs: “Listen to clients and find out what they really want. This is the biggest financial decision most people make in their lives. It’s a tough process and you have to really care.” This heart for service extends deeply into her community work; she is the co-founder of a 501(c)(3) non-profit Hope Floats Up supporting women’s health and is actively involved in disaster relief with Operation Providing Hope. Outside of work, Laura and her husband, Jim, live on a 12-acre horse farm in Advance, where they enjoy gardening, traveling, and spending time with their three grown children. Whether navigating a complex luxury estate or a large-scale agricultural property, Laura remains grateful to serve as an expert guide and a tireless advocate for her clients.
