A little bit about me...
Leah Pappas Martinez brings a dynamic blend of legal insight, entrepreneurial drive, and deep-seated empathy to the R&B Legacy Group. Leah’s journey into real estate began alongside her husband’s construction and remodeling career, fueled by a shared passion for property investment and financial growth. Before transitioning into real estate full-time, Leah put herself through college by working every imaginable role in the restaurant industry, from bussing tables to management, before transitioning into a career as a paralegal and interpreter. This unique background provided her with sharp communication skills, an ability to thrive under pressure, and a foundational understanding of the legal side of property contracts. As a fully bilingual agent, Leah seamlessly serves both English and Spanish-speaking communities, ensuring that every family she represents feels completely understood, educated, and protected throughout the process.
Leah’s professional philosophy is centered on building genuine, lifelong relationships over simple transactions—a mindset that has turned a large portion of her business into repeat clients and referrals. She is a relentless advocate who leads with a servant's heart, famously demonstrated when she cut a vacation short to spend two days scraping paint and repairing wood rot on a two-story home just to save a client’s closing. Having grown up in a family where homeownership was never discussed, Leah has experienced firsthand the power of building generational wealth through real estate, a lesson she passionately passes on to her clients by helping them transition their first homes into cash-flowing rental properties. Outside of the office, Leah and her husband own a local dog-sitting business, The Daily Wag WS, and can often be found playing pickleball, volunteering in animal rescue, or exploring Winston-Salem’s local breweries and Reynolda Gardens with their pups. Guided by her faith and the principle of Colossians 3:23, Leah works with absolute dedication to turn the dream of financial stability into a tangible reality for her neighbors
